01OVERVIEW
CHALLENGE
Motion in our interfaces was added late and tuned by eye, so timing drifted between products and animation often competed with the data it framed.
APPROACH
We reduced motion to a small set of primitives with tokenized timing, then tested each against comprehension tasks before it entered the system.
OUTCOME
A motion system with measurable intent: every transition explains a change of state, and the same tokens drive design tools and production code.
